I think the biggest reason he won the heisman is because michigan won the national title. Of course they dont beat ohio state or washington state without woodson. I disagree with what your saying about who he played against though ironlung. He shut down Terry Glenn as a freshman, always did an outstanding job against David Boston, Derrick Mason, Bobby Engram, Joe Jurevicius and Muhsin Muhammad. Sure the big 10 runs alot more than they pass, but you cant really say he didnt play against anybody and thats almost like discrediting that he was nfl defensive rookie of the year the next season and went to three pro bowls. I think Woodson is a great player, hes just always hurt and I think with the raiders losing all of those years, he lost interest and quit playing hard.
